Meet Our Leadership

Emily Bilcher
Executive Director
Emily joined Family Safety Network in 2015 and feels deeply honored to support survivors and work toward a future free from violence. After a decade of moving across four states, she and her husband Karlin put down roots in Teton Valley in 2012, where they’re raising their two kids. Emily loves fly fishing with her family, experimenting with new recipes, and welcoming friends—old and new—around the table.

Monica N. Carrillo Martinez
Bicultural Director of Client Services
Monica joined Family Safety Network in 2015 and is proud to serve the community she calls home. Originally from Mexico, she grew up in the Tetons and graduated from Teton High School. Now raising her own family here, Monica is passionate about ensuring language isn’t a barrier to safety, support, or healing.

Sophie Howk
Prevention Educator & Youth Advocate
Sophie joined Family Safety Network in the spring of 2022. Originally from northern Wisconsin, she came to Teton Valley for the big mountains and stuck around for the even bigger heart of the community. When she’s not sewing or out on the trail with her adventure pup Rhubarb, Sophie loves connecting with local youth and sparking conversations about healthy relationships.
