Bilingual / Bicultural Victim Advocate
Position Summary:
Family Safety Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join our team as a Bilingual / Bicultural Victim Advocate.
In this role, you will play a crucial role providing support to survivors of domestic and sexual violence through crisis intervention, safety planning, and case management. You will also collaborate with community partners to enhance services and make appropriate referrals. Maintaining accurate and confidential client records is essential, as is participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial to effectively support survivors from diverse backgrounds.

High School Internship
Position Summary:
The Family Safety Network is looking for teens passionate about creating a thriving culture of healthy relationships, consent, support, and gender equality in Teton Valley.
Interns will receive extensive training on teen dating violence, the role of technology in dating, consent culture, bullying prevention, bystander intervention, how to support a friend experiencing violence, and much more! In addition to the training, interns will plan and implement outreach events in the community about teen dating violence and sexual assault awareness. We are excited to hear the ideas of teens in the community and want to center your voices in prevention and awareness work. This position is a great opportunity to gain experience in leadership, social justice work, advocacy work, social media messaging, and event planning.
Qualifications:

9th - 12th grade students living in Teton County, ID

Willing to share honest ideas and thoughts about prevention and awareness education in Teton Valley

Passion for ending violence in our community
Pay:
$100 stipend a month during the 24/25 School Year
