Position Summary:

Family Safety Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join our team as a Bilingual / Bicultural Victim Advocate.

 

As a Bilingual Victim Advocate, you will play a crucial role in providing support, resources, and advocacy to survivors of domestic and sexual violence. We are open to a full-time or part-time position for the right person.

 

In this role, you will offer emotional support to survivors, provide crisis intervention, develop safety plans, and manage cases. You will also collaborate with community partners to enhance services and make appropriate referrals. Maintaining accurate and confidential client records is essential, as is participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial to effectively support survivors from diverse backgrounds.
